The current year's Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has been dropped, festival coordinators declared Friday , the most recent in a string of New Orleans festivals to choose to completely close the entryway on 2020. The following items are ALLOWED:

• Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Bag size may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5” (35cm x 28cm x 12cm), or 30 linear inches (75cm) in total, and must have no more than one singular pocket or opening. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Hydration packs are allowed but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.

• Cameras – only nonprofessional photos and video cameras will be allowed, and must be without equipment attachments such as selfie sticks, tripods, and monopods

• All OTC medicines/pills must be in original still-factory-sealed package. Previously opened medicines will be disregarded.

Security Screening & Entry:

For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full body pat-down and metal detector search before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.

Getting There

Due to increased traffic and parking demands, it is highly recommended to take advantage of public transportation to get to and from the fest site. The North Carrollton Branch of the Canal Streetcar Line will take you from downtown right up to the main gates of City Park. You can catch the Canal Streetcar along any one of many stops downtown and ask the conductor for a transfer to the North Carrollton Line. Fares are $1.25 each way, transfers included.
